Archimedes: Eureka! Collectors Edition

The great inventor Archimedes presents his newest and most advanced invention: a large winch powered by the wind. Even Hercules is no match for this mechanism! However, it’s no match against nature as a strong gust of wind destroys the device, which in turn, destroys the entire city of Syracuse. Can you guide Archimedes and help rebuild the beautiful city?

Good old fashioned, non 3-D TM game. Don't really understand the lower ratings that have been posted. There are not any bonuses to help you along. It is a well made game with levels that require strategic and sometimes lateral thinking to complete at the three star level. You have to wave your mouse over gold to collect it. One can get 3 Stars on every Level. I've had to play a few levels over again to get 3 stars. Now and again I would even get three!! Write a post! I don't mind tricky levels or having to replay levels and rethink strategy, but for many levels, I couldn't even get close!! You have to rush and rush and rush to get 3 stars. I like challenging games, and my pleasure now is to beat the developer's records.

Would have been better than Hercules if not for the problems I noted. Give it a try. I play all the Royal Envoy games and I have made it 3 stars for every single level, usually only having to replay a time or two tops. It makes it not as fun when you're frantic to Archimedes: Eureka! Collectors Edition it done and there's no time to hesitate. This game is definitely a timed strategy game. Many thanks developer!

To get 3 stars on all levels can be quite challenging and you have to think and rethink how you do things. It may be very frustrating for those new to the Genre. I had to use my brain and to restart some levels many times to beat the developer's records, and that's exactly what I am expecting from this sort of game. You really need your thinking cap on.

Another note: Carefully read the comments provided during the Game. The graphics are crisp, with beautiful colors. I usually like to keep the sound on to hear the various building noises but this is the first game I have ever had to completely mute the sounds and the equally annoying music.   4. It's hard to get 3 stars. First of all, please excuse my poor english. It's been a long time since I've done little else but try to beat level after level this way.

For the developers, I recommend ditching the confirmation dialog when demolishing buildings, and adding the workers required to the build house and decoration information windows.   7. My favorite mathematician finally comes into his own. I still haven't figured out the story line. I guess you could say this one's different because it's set in ancient Greece and is "kin" to the Hercules series? So, I was truly delighted to have found this game.

I also get perfect scores on all the Hercules games, so it's not like this developer beats me One of my favorite games from one of my favorite developers.
