The Tiny Tale

Retrieve the four elements and restore a magical kingdom in The Tiny Tale! After an evil wizard stole the four elements, an entire kingdom was plunged into darkness. Now, under the command of the ancient shaman, the gremlins must retrieve these elements from the depths of the wizard's perilous dungeons. Enjoy the immersive atmosphere and recover the kingdom in this mystical Time Management game!

There are several alters which when activated will regrow trees and pumpkins and even make the gremlins faster for a burst of time. When these 4 cups were instilled into the Shrine of Death, all would be well again and the Shrine of Compassion would return. You earn flowers based on how well you do and you get to outfit your trolls using flowers as money. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by SilverBranch from Just as good as Tiny Tale 1 This is just as whimsical as the first installment of this game. What a fun twist on the building homes games, which I love. I'm not a huge fan of the over-played genre of resource management games because of the lack of originality in them collect wood, stone and food - they're all the same. The Shrine of Compassion has been corrupted, instead of spreading health and well being, the Shrine is now spreading death and the Trolls must find the other Shrines and take a sample of each one to rejuvenate the Shrine of Death. It's cute but it's challenging. Sort of a pain when you're trying to lower the volume bcos those creatures mantra when picking food, does become grating on your ears. While it could be said, been there, done that, you could say that about every TM game ever made because all of them involve gathering resources in some manner and building from there. I have several levels I'll be replaying to get the red flower so it's not an easy push over on the game play. As time management games go, I put this game in my top 5. The head troll I guess , who is also the Narrator, turns mummies and other beasties into mushrooms so they don't bother the trolls during their building and renovating. The graphics are large, clear and quite adorable.

Mere humans would come and drink from the Shrine and it would heal sickness, even resurrect the dead. But, the Shrine could feel it and didn't like that at all and started to get green and smelly and nasty and called upon another Guard a Necromancer. If you're a perfectionist going for all gold and have a day job so you can't sit a solid hours at one game, then you'll find its a good length. So you need to exit a few times to get it just right. As you go along, the levels get a little harder, but you also unlock items and actions to use to update the characters.

It's a hard game to play if you try to beat the Developer's score.

It also lets you play on for "lower" flowers and has a casual mode as well. I love my troll and my little gremlins - love the new outfits I keep winning for them to wear - doesn't affect gameplay but they sure are cute!! I've been able to beat the developers own score quite a few times, that always feels great! Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by tempestdancer from Fun, cheerful and Multi-Layered Apart from being elated that it's not another HOG, this is a cute little TMG where the characters have little antics and a variety of quips as you send them about their tasks. You can choose a Relaxed setting if so desired, and you can speed up the game or slow it down to customize the game. I hope there will be a 2nd one soon. On your travels with the trolls to find these Shrines, you come across areas that need their help terribly. I really like the ability to accessorize my critters. Just finished Royal Envoy and Rush for Gold and am enjoying this one every bit as much. The biggie is that the "cancel tasks" feature will not cancel the first task, only the other pre-selected tasks.
