Lost Secrets: November 1963

Something mysterious is brewing in Texas. What could Dallas, the assassination of President Kennedy, and a pink teddy bear have in common? Lainey Wells has been having dreams centered around Dallas, the assassination of President Kennedy, and a pink teddy bear. Yearning to cure her condition, she travels to Dealey Plaza to discover what ties her to the President's untimely death. It becomes clear that someone is steering her towards a specific goal, but who or what guides her hand?

The story line, while a bit illogical, did follow along at a good pace. Some historical footage is presented in clever ways but a mystery is mainly evolving here and though you might imagine it's a flashback to prevent JFK's fate, it is not Then, suddenly, the game was over. I was very surprised when the game ended so soon. The interactive map eliminated most of the back-and-forth actions that are annoying in other HOGs. Hope you enjoy! There really wasn't much of the actual history included, which is a bit of a shame for the younger generation. HOS are somewhat easy, mini games were a bit more challenging than the HOS,but not much, hint is very helpful, interactive map is good, except when in a "dream sequence",then it is useless, but you dont have far to travel in the "dreams" so it was OK,voices were not to bad,but the best part to me is the history lessons throughout the game,I liked that and think it would be great for youth to play and get a little "teach" while having fun!! I was 19 when Kennedy was shot, and I had just seen him in person a few months before when he visited by home town, so I remember the assassination very well. The puzzles are fun and the storyline is gripping. I found it rather good to see some of the things that happened on that fateful day and to have a different view I totally recommend this game! Bright and clear without a lot of camouflage. I really liked the map feature.

The abruptness was very disappointing. While in dream mode the map was of no use, but the hint button was useful in those situations. There were two stages, real and dreamlike. Hope Gamehouse comes out with another like this one As well, the story was a good length to my thinking because I'm not fond of the horrendously intricate games that go on and on and on on on ononon The only negative I have with the game is that it was way too short. I recently completed the game and found it interesting with a surprising ending. I was really expecting more.

It's fun, it's historical, whether it's accurate or not means absolutely nothing, it's entertaining and based only on the trial version I'm buying. That said, however, there were some good things as well. So I gave it 5 stars because it had a lot going for it: good graphics with a half-century old look to the environment. The map was a real help, as there was a lot of bouncing around. If the developers cut down on 'story' and let you get down to playing the game it could be worth it; deleted after 15 minutes. The hint system will also direct you to the location you need to be. The story line, while a bit illogical, did follow along at a good pace. Also, there is a map. Great graphics and if you actually pay attention to the story line its enough to keep you playing till you beat the game. While in dream mode the map was of no use, but the hint button was useful in those situations. The map only worked in real time but your hint button got you to where you needed to be. This game had some fantastic sound effects. Seems some reviewers took the game personally, which I think 11963 strange since it in no way as I can see shows disrespect for JFK. One thing Seccrets: loved about the hint button, is that it showed you where to go next IF you got stuck. The map was a real help, as there was The Office lot of bouncing around. I recently completed the game and found it interesting with a surprising ending. Your not there to solve what actually happened, that is a side issue in this game.
