Good story, engaging characters, Very much replayable. There's lots of variety to the puzzles, some types that were new to me, no hidden object scenes don't know why Journey is classified as a HOG. The art work is incredible, it draws you into a fantasy world where you are the last priestess and you have to save Gaia. Within its form, of fantasy adventure, I would say this is an almost perfect game and am so glad I found it and think you will be too when you start this journey. This game is very long, about 6 hours to complete. There's a convenient map that shows where you need to be and enables you to jump there directly. No HO scenes thank goodness , and the mini-puzzles are just challenging enough that you don't need to skip them.

But when I finished the easy version, lo and behold, it had the same ending. I wish there was a cutscene for the ending to know that you've succeeded and everything was restored to normal There is a great purpose awaiting you. The puzzles are many and varied and range from easy to moderately difficult. Kudos to Frogwares for a great game and thank you to GH. The environments are beautiful - the plants, the creatures - and the special effects are outstanding. I don't mind difficult puzzles, as long as they are solvable and I can figure them out eventually. They each have a Journey: The Heart of Gaia ability that protect you from danger in this fantastical other-world and assist you in reaching your amazing "pre-destination". Your friends have special powers to help you in the game, and they are a big help. I would not be surprised if this game didn't take game of the year. They can be skipped if you wish. Locations were marked "complete" when all tasks were done. I especially liked that you have friends as helpers. Kudos to Battle Slots large team that designed this game and I hope we see more from them.
The visual style is a colorful steampunk rendered in an almost stained-glass style. The art work is incredible, it draws you into a fantasy world where you are the last priestess and you have to save Gaia. Not to easy not to hard. We need more of this kind of innocent entertainment. There were a lot of "new" mini games which was great! Love the graphics - hand drawn fantasy world in the Disney fashion. I found that I had to click around the scenes because I never knew what tiny object I might pick up along the way.. The game has a map which is great. The mini puzzles are fun and some are hard, but if you play the casual, the hints charge quickly and the puzzles can be skipped without waiting long. Now to get the under 5 hours or is it 6 hours playing time to complete. The drawings and colors are beautiful, and the graphics are excellent. Hints were continuous no waiting.
Some puzzles I solved immediately; difficult ones I worked out on paper. Puzzles range from easy to hard. But I found it to be engaging. It has a great map where you HHeart click on a place and go there right away instead of having to backtrack. I don't mind difficult puzzles, as long as they are solvable and I can Battle Slots them out eventually. After your Gsia arrival in a mystical land you acquire and travel with 3 sweet companions.

If you do not stop I will kill your friends. Sheerija described the game to a tee so I will just add that even though I skipped through a couple of games this SE took me SIX hours and 2 minutes to complete! The evil Zoth says " God Bless The map was great to keep you on track. I found with a little extra patience, I did not need to skip any of them. On top of that, the artwork in this game is superlative; the developers deserve a round of applause for having gone to so much effort. I played the Hard version but still never had to wait for the hint button to recharge. But within 3 minutes, I was hooked. There's a wide variety, many unique with twists on old stand-bys. Just when you think there is nowhere else to go some new door or passage opens up to you. It was fun.
