From Friendly Cactus, makers of the Stranded Dreamscape series, comes a magical new chapter in the Shrouded Tales series! When a garbled distress call comes in from a neighboring city, you are chosen to investigate the source of the trouble. Armed with a magical amulet that can cast a variety of spells, you head through the portal to find out what has happened in Volarden. But as you begin to investigate, you quickly learn that things may not be what they seem. Watch your back – evil is taking shape around every corner in this exciting Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure game!

I'd recommend it for all levels of gamers. In the Collector's Edition, it also reveals 30 hidden rune symbols, one in each scene, as well as the addition of several Achievements to earn. Jump map was easy to use which ends up being very important with all the overuse of the back and forth, light and dark worlds. You need to act on objects in order to use them in inventory and in the story so, for me, the whole flows much better and makes sense. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by lbtgam from Really Good Game Loved it all, based on full game and bonus,: I have also played the previous one and enjoyed it, if you have played the previous, you will already know the characters and story line, very nice continuation. The demo was so short and the game played pretty seamlessly. Some required some thought but I never had to use the strategy guide to complete them. Bring on more like this one. We need to use our "magic", or spells, as well as some of our regular inventory items in the HOPs.

  1. But it was obvious I had to do something there. Map is good and guide is thorough. I think the puzzles are great and HOS are different, so I really think that paying extra for the ability to play them over is a good value. One must remember the 'amulet'.
