To sail or not to sail? What kind of question is that! While others mull it over, you can be the first to find the pirate cache! Somewhere out there, at the bottom of a mysterious lake, lies the secrets of times long past: a crystal capable of giving youth, a cup which can give eternal life with a single sip, and a gold doubloon which brings luck to its bearer... All of this could be yours, if only you get to the island before anyone else! So onwards, summon your crew and set sail! Your journey promises to be risky, but they don't call you a courageous captain for nothing, right? Go ahead! Hoist the Jolly Roger! Fair winds to ye, sea dog!

Some other games like this have a very clear logic to them but having to guess takes away any of the point of the game. Some reviewers have complained about not being able to use the mouse keys to swap between filling or blanking a square. I love it! My only complaint is the mechanism for changing check marks to cross marks is just backwards. Of course you will adapt, but for a logic game, it is illogically designed. By that I mean you can't tell you are making a picture of any one particular object. There are two different ways fo play this game which makes it more fun. You would have to actually play the game to understand what I am trying to say. I will most likely go ahead and buy this game. No idea why it is that some people can and some people cannot. As with most games, this begins on the easy side and gradually becomes more difficult. It would make much more sense to click on Dreams of a Geisha check box to use it, instead of covering up the cross box to get to the check. Go ahead! Explore 6 new different mystical islands and get many unusual pirate trophies! There are a couple of levels so far that could have "either or" placements of the "checks", but if you guess incorrectly, then you get a mistake and may need to replay the level.

That being said Hoist Flowers Garden Solitaire Jolly Roger! Fair winds to ye, sea dog! I prefer to have a definite solution to pictogram puzzles such as these, where you must work it out with the clues given as in a crossword. I consider myself an expert at this type of game and I usually am able to complete without using a hint. This puzzle game's genre also known as griddlers, picross, hanjie, nonograms, japanese crosswords, logic puzzles, pic-a-pix, nonogramme, logimage, logic art, nonogrids, japanilainen ristikko, nonogramm, kare karalamaca, nonogramas, malovane krizovky, crucipixel. This one falls short in this respect, and thus is not a buy for me. By that I mean you can't tell you are making a picture of any one particular object. I had no problem using my mouse for this and didn't need to use the "tick and cross" slider at the side of the game board. I believe this same company also made Fill and Cross: World Contest it is set up the exact same way and I am finding the same issues with that product. But again, not enough to knock more than one star off. Can only recommend if you are not averse to guessing or using hints. The only negative is that some of the levels end up with the player having to "guess" or use a hint in order to finish. Too bad, as there are other aspects of the game that are very good.
