Quite often I'll wait to buy a CE on sale and play other games in between so it's great to have a journal that holds the story and even better when it holds the cut scenes AND the diary notes. It took me 4hr 35 min to complete the SE portion. What a breath of fresh air! But after I recover from this one, I'll definitely be checking out the first one again! I love a game that shows me exactly where everything is. I LOVED the graphics, I loved the CE morphs, because again, they did it right, if a mushroom morphs into a baseball in the middle of a forest that's gonna be so easily spotted, but if it morphs into something you'd expect to see, as a branch, for example, it's harder to spot! There are about three times as many mini-games as HO scenes, and the HO scenes were too easy.

I honestly just started this game a few minutes ago and I just wanted to say "Thank you" to Eipix for all the great references throughout to Twin Peaks, probably my all-time favorite tv series. Nothing interesting. The main story ends a bit too quickly and leaves you speculating what happened to a couple of the characters. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by chanur from Extras If you are anything like me and don't get all the 'hidden extras', this game is positively for you. Its fast paced, you play different characters and it has that feeling of dread of "what's going to happen next". You play as 3 different people one per chapter , but it's not like those Romance games were you switch around within a scene. Happy Gaming? Have fun! So, do you get the CE or SE? Date published: I disagree, the rating is a personal preference which is why it says "I loved it, I liked it, it was okay, I disliked it, I hated it. Play the demo and see if this is a game for you. Not much is resolved in terms of story as we are told two myths or urban legends the bonus chapter is another myth but related to the main game. Only one took me a while towards the end of the bonus game - until I got my head around it. Get them all and you get an achievement for each. There are no morphs in the HOPs. Quite often I'll wait to buy a CE on sale and play other games in between so it's great to have a journal that holds the story and even better when it holds the cut scenes AND the diary notes. I kinda even dug picking up the CE collectible trash lol. If you liked this game, I thought these were similar in some way: 1. I've always loved the creepy abandoned, everything got left behind n a rush, I'm the only one here scenario and they really did pay attention to the detail to make it seem realistic, to make the player feel like they are playing as a character within the game, not just pushing an avatar around in a game, does that make sense? However, you can look for these after the game has finished if you miss any or want to find them later. There are morphing objects and collectibles to find. The story is creepy with a monstrous killer in the town -- not for the faint of heart! There were some of my favorite puzzles included in the mix and some that were very well-designed. 1. The hos are good but too numerous versus the mini-games. I adored the demo and would rate it higher if I could. The music was perfect for this game but they played it way too much. Good game, please try it.

  2. The music is perfect for this type of adventure and the characters are realistic with good voices over. Enigmatis The Mists of Ravenwood also played in a campground-like location 3. It's now a part of my games library. Obviously, there is no one game for everyone but for everyone there is game.

  3. Before long I found myself totally involved in the action and I was hooked. You can turn off voices and sounds--I turn off the music and voices to get a more granular feel of the artistry and the story. It took a long time to get there. Everything about The Fire Within is a vast improvement beginning with the lighter graphics. Sound is good and the music is fast and creepy.

  4. I think they were green cups, a rock with a red band, and lost posters. I had to stop at that point. It also has a morph to look for and just a few magnetic tapes to collect which you continue collecting in the CE's bonus chapter. This isn't a perfect game and it's not a "brain-burner" hard to figure out what to do next kind of game which I actually prefer but I really enjoyed playing the game, it just worked for me.

  5. Go into the Collectibles box and do the puzzles to get the combinations. Brink of Consciousness: Dorian Gray psych. I wish Eipix would incorporate the cut scenes within the journal.

  6. Although there wasn't a whole lot of variety, the scenes were decent and the scenes were located in somewhat interesting locations. So, do you get the CE or SE? Waiting for the next installment Total gameplay for CE: 5hr 20min The other bonus content that unlocks took me 15 min.

  7. I loved the older games that just used computer gen graphics like the console games. Obviously, there is no one game for everyone but for everyone there is game. I wish Eipix would incorporate the cut scenes within the journal. Thank you Eipix. You have to find all the collectibles to be able to access the souvenirs.

  8. Bonus Chapter: Collector's Edition version This is a somewhat short chapter that takes place over 7 Scene locations, most of which are scenes you visited in the main game. I spent a good deal of time re-reading the journal from the start too, just so I knew exactly what was going on. The collector content worth it - many collectibles to find with a short but good bonus chapter prequel.
