The bonus chapter has the oriental puppet doll Amelie, Alexander the creator and Marie the mayor on a mini adventure. It's a lot of fun! What in the world are people wanting? I really enjoy fantasy locations, but this PuppetShkw: into something that's half fantasy, half real culture is really nice. That being said I did decide to give the demo a try, promising myself I would do so with an open mind as I am predisposed to dislike the interminable series that are simply cookie-cutter games. XBOX games or something? Okay, I realize that some long-time Procelain of HOPA games will find the game far too easy for their tastes but at least for me Mahjong Escape Ancient Japan game did PuppetShow: Porcelain Smile Zumas Revenge thought. I'm happy about the 5 second skip. The graphics are great and vibrant. Love the Oriental Flair. My hats off to the producers.

There are two types of collectibles: bells and morphing flowers. This might not come as a surprise to those who have read my reviews in the past but I loved the HOS in Porcelain Smile. He was able to craft Porcelain Dolls that were so beautiful, so perfect, that they almost looked real. I've been looking at that and my wallpaper with Dee Dee on it for a few days. The bonus chapter has the oriental puppet doll Amelie, Alexander the creator and Marie the mayor on a mini adventure. The graphics are great and vibrant. Replay 14 hops, 11 mini-games, 8 movies and 4 music. The music has a nice style, the challenge and the story is unique. I give it a whole hearted 5 stars. I finished the main game, and I can't find how to get into the bonus game, as there is no mention of the bonus game in the main menu. Great graphics as usual, the puzzles are fun, though it's nothing really new. It is one of the most beautiful games i have played with class. I can see where it would be too easy for the experts but it was just right for me. The HOPs are plentiful, but if you're someone who likes them integrated with other games, they are well balanced. The Mini-Games were downright insulting, at times they were nothing more than fillers used to make people believe this game wasn't as short, but it is a short game. XBOX games or something? Once again, this is a story about Dolls, fragile porcelain Dolls, not puppets. They're great at coming up with new puppet ideas but also integrating memorable puppets from past games, which I so enjoy. The car in the bonus chapter. Keep up the good work! I thought the mini-games were too easy as well, but the use of Japanese culture in such an odd and anachronistic way was the thing that kept me from being absorbed in the story. The voices, outstanding. The Collector's Edition version has a Morphing Flower in each scene.

Sadly the voiceovers have not always been the best and those in this game are downright awful, from the wanna-be cowboy voice of Otis to the squeaky high-pitched voice of Dee Dee. A lot of my favorite puzzles were used such as the one where we move tiles on a board to create an opening large enough to remove an item. The mini-games were a bit easy but I did enjoy almost all of them that were in the demo. The Collector's Edition version has 15 Wallpapers each one has several pictures of each character, I want pics of the scene, not character cover shots?? Happy gaming!

Eventually, they do throw in a Fragment Find, a Keyword in Sentence Find and a Replacement Find where you reverse everything by picking up inventory items and placing them logically into the scene. I couldn't finish the trial version. What will happen to the town of Smile Island now that the 5 dolls are on on the loose? Happy gaming! One of the screensavers has the opening scene.

I will, however, give them credit for the graphics that are always detailed, but I can't say that I was excited about all the howling dogs and screeching cats that are always in the background of all of their games. It may not be a "real" challenge for some, but it was just right for me. PuppetShow is a series I have always liked, and I always look forward to the next installment. The HOPs are plentiful, but if you're someone who likes them integrated with other games, they are well balanced.

  6. Didn't particularly follow the Puppet Show series, but I've been loosely following this developer's other works. A lot of my favorite puzzles were used such as the one where we move tiles on a board to create an opening large enough to remove an item. Okay, I realize that some long-time players of HOPA games will find the game far too easy for their tastes but at least for me the game did require some thought. Unfortunately the soundtrack was not that good either and I had to mute the sound while playing one of the HOPS because it drove me batty. The bottom line here is that this is a short game, each chapter has exactly 5 pages in the SG.

  7. I don't usually write reviews, I really liked this game because the games challenge me to complete the puzzles which I will skip if I can't figure them out. When beginning to play we select our game profile from an array of either male or female photos. I really enjoyed the game. Some games are easy, some are more challenging, none have been really hard so far.
