Royal Detective: Queen of Shadows Collectors Edition

Princess made some mistakes in the past, not always using her magic for good. But she’s made amends, and that’s all forgiven now. She has finally found her mother after five long years. But just as Princess runs to embrace her, a band of thuggish trees kidnap her mother! You’re the royal detective she came to know so well, and you’re Princess’ only hope. She’s still just a girl, and her magic isn’t quite strong enough to defeat the villain who’s taken her mother. Help reunite them – and uncover a devious plot by an evil king and his brothers! This is a special Collector's Edition release full of exclusive extras you won’t find in the standard version. As a bonus, Collector's Edition purchases count toward three stamps on your Monthly Game Club Punch Card! The Collector’s Edition includes:

It was different. Then there is the will o' wisps challenge, that makes you align parts of a puzzle in order to tell the story of Rizallion in greater detail. It wasn't. And then there's the evil sorcerer Rizallion, an elf who killed his brothers so he could be elf king by himself, who is also connected to the Tree of Wishes. Rizallion agrees but she must give him one thing in return, and that one thing may be a price she cannot repay! After such a brilliant game, the chapter has only 1 old location and 4 new ones, 4 new HOPs and 4 new puzzles. Achievements did not continue through this chapter. There's only one drawback, however: the CE bonus gameplay is very very short in my opinion. Usually I play games in x mode, so as not to make the objects too small. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by lynnisrich from Top Game I absolutely loved playing this game. My only complaints are with a draggy cursor okay with system one but not as much fun , and an inventory panel that is not lockable. There is a self involved and selfish artist and stepmother, and the people have disappeared and some of the statues help and some try to kill you!

Maybe not memorable, but great playing. I really don't think it matters if you haven't played the Lord of Statues but you might want to revisit that game as well, enjoy! I really enjoyed the mini games, in my opinion there could have been more, but the one I liked the best was guiding a character around a map of sorts and figuring out what stops he need to make in order to complete the tasks at hand such as giving a beer to a guard but Shattered Minds: Masquerade brewery needs Death at Fairing Point: A Dana Knightstone Novel and there are wolves everywhere and I found this game quite fun. Take notes, there are a lot of locations and tasks. A fair number of interesting mini-games that are fun to play. Princess and Mom met for a few second when Mom was suddenly whisked away by the trees. I'm ready for Part III!!! Try it and see! It did have different locations and a few pretty good puzzles. Selena knew that her daughter was doomed to die at birth so she asked Rizallion, an elf and sorcerer, how to find the Tree of wishes. After such a brilliant game, the chapter has only 1 old location and 4 new ones, 4 new HOPs and 4 new puzzles. It has a good map, which is a big plus for me, you can jump from place to place and it shows where there is action to do. I like the objects to fit the time period, but that was no biggy. Thank you Bigfish. Excellent fun, each different. Its one of those games that has everything. This is my second play since I bought it in and it really holds up well! It has a good map, which is a big plus for me, you can jump from place to place and it shows where there is action to do. The map works really well. There are little dragons to collect, and morphing creatures, and achievements, plus 4 modes of play. I especially liked the puzzles: the cracked eggs you had to put back together took me three tries! It was a super short bonus game and it didn't seem to resolve anything but left me confused. OTHER STUFF: 4 volume and gamma control; 4 difficulty modes; skeleton head who is the keeper of the city is your hint system, which shows you were to go and teleports you if you choose. Very cute, though you knew they were sinister. Take notes, there are a lot of locations and tasks. And then there's the evil sorcerer Rizallion, an elf who killed his brothers so he could be elf king by himself, who is also connected to the Tree of Wishes. You encounter numerous force fields which require magical weapons to penetrate.

I did skip a couple of the puzzles, though, which kept me from winning one of the Iron Sea Defenders. I highly recommend it. The story was a total nothing. Just a fantastic piece of artwork, story, and programming. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by skullfun from I absolutely loved it!!!

I think the statues are fun and the rooster funny. The graphics were just spectacular, I thought. MAP: Yes, interactive and shows where to look next. I really don't think it matters if you haven't played the Lord of Statues but you might want to revisit that game as well, enjoy! It was fun. And a good map! The bonus chapter carries on easily with either ending, and is not at all needed for either. The storyline lost me in places, I felt less connected to Princess in this one, but it was still great. I did not get all the morfing dragons the first time and went in again and played and they werent there They are crowded, but detailed and list-based. I was not very convinced with this game when I tried this on demo, the graphic is awesome but the mouse is draggish. Anyway, the art is beautiful. Just that one point and this game will be flawless. They do have hints in the strategy guide, but I find it distracting to stop and go look at it, so used it minimally.

What a delight this game is, the graphics are outstanding and the storyline is wonderful. Rizallion agrees but she must give him one thing in return, and that one thing may be a price she cannot repay! Of course, the graphics in general are getting better with each new generation of games. You can't go back afterwards, so I'll have to pay more attention next time. The downside is the game is a bit shorter than i thought it would be, but the work and imagination that's put into this game more than makes up for that. It has a good map, which is a big plus for me, you can jump from place to place and it shows where there is action to do. I did skip a couple of the puzzles, though, which kept me from winning one of the achievements. I will say though that this game is pretty easy to play, everything seems logical. Very cute, though you knew they were sinister. The main game has a conclusive enough ending; the bonus play does nothing to enhance it. It's a fun game to play, challenging, and I love the interactive map which takes you straight to a location when you click on it, and also shows you were things need to be done. Good use of animation. You are a detective who's been summoned by the Princess you helped 5 years ago. Just that one point and this game will be flawless. If there were more collections or morphing objects, I'd be tempted to go that way.

  1. Date published: Not only do you have giant statues coming to life, but you get a skull who has to chomp his wandering eyes as a hint icon, he claims to be the former City Keeper, but that's a long story. This is my second play since I bought it in and it really holds up well! I did not get all the morfing dragons the first time and went in again and played and they werent there

  2. I sometimes found the storyline a little befuddling, but not enough for it to lose its shine. As with Surface, they had a bit of a sense of humour to them too. I highly recommend it. The bonus chapter carries on easily with either ending, and is not at all needed for either.

  3. The HOS were interactive and crisp and clear and of course the map being interactive is another bonus for me. I didn't know there will be two different ending and I feel bad that I can't find out what happen if I choose the other one. I'll make this short and sweet as others have probably said what I want to say about this game. I would play it again anyway, but now I'll have to so I can find out what happens on the other choice.

  4. The hint button is a skeleton's head that yawns when he gets bored. This bonus was disappointing. Oh what another delightful game to play, Elephant games are just getting better and better and just as good as ERS these days! The teleporting map is a great help.
