The puzzle at the end is excellent - there are 12 pieces of an amulet to collect throughout the game, they are necessary for the conclusion. I found it more enjoyable to have to search the rooms without hints not knowing whether it was the room itself or a new HO scene I needed to find. You moved your mouse around the room and when you discovered an item that required inventory objects then other places in the location became active and the objective list list of items to find changed to include what new things were needed. Rotate the wheels to change the coordinates, then click on the eye button to look. There were a few problems such as one scene had two tusks but only one was right and another scene had three bottle type objects and the most least likely to be called a vial was the right vial. There were only two gameplay difficulty settings. Sculpting Area Take a closer look at the open cabinet on the left. Click on the hidden object area over the box at the center of the bottom of the screen. Take a closer look at the device again. Take a closer look at the stool lying on the ground. There is no map, but the back and forth was not tedious like in so many other games. Observatory Take a closer look at the telescope stand.

Take a closer look at the gap beneath the front corner of the wooden platform. Sculpting Area Take a closer look at the open cabinet on the left. Bedroom Take a closer look at the TV-like device sitting on the table. Upon placing all the runes correctly, another object will be added to your objectives. Examine the Labyrinth 2,4 and the and the Pond in the Garden 2,3 to trigger a need to find the time. The game, in the beginning, was a little tricky for me because of a different way to gather and use the inventory items. They are listed under goals but it took me a while to get that. I imagine the experience on Easy setting would be a lot different. Use the Night Vision Elixir to enable yourself to see. Return to the Stairs.

There is no widescreen option but I don't mind the black side bars. I couldn't get anywhere, but when the light bulb came on, I went on a great adventure when a dream? Most games I am ok with returning, finding and item, running back to other location until about halfway through when I lose Liong: The Lost Amulets of the locations and where all the locked boxes and doors are. Stairs Proceed left to the Observatory. Only one had me stumped on what to do. For the most part, the game has a light, airy feel even though you are racing to solve the mystery. I really loved this aspect of the game. Use each of the 8 GEARS on their correct location as determined by the shape in the middle of the gear and the peg on the door. Proceed to the Painting Area. I personally love to play them more than once especially when they are as beautiful as these were. Observatory Take a closer look at the wooden board to the left of the telescope. For example, a "tea service" actually turns out to be a teacup and saucer, a "knitting needle" is actually either a crochet hook or tatting hook. Return to the Sculpting Area. There was almost no running back and forth between locations except for the multi-screen rooms you were in and I loved this. Click on the hidden object area that appears at the end of the carriage. Click on the lever again to raise the torture device, then take a closer look at the broken stool lying on the floor. It is very entertaining, guides you threw the game and keeps your interest. I enjoyed every minute. The graphics, music, antiques, HOS, the story, the detail.

  3. Return to the Dungeon. I will be playing this again. Proceed to the Painting Area. This game kept it pretty tight.

The graphics without flaw, the scenery amazing and so true to real, the storyline 'historical' and very well put together.

I definetly like this game because I am learning a bit of history while I enjoy the play. Painting Area Click on the hidden object area over the cabinet on the left. Return to the Cellar.

  9. The items you had to find could be found in the room or in HO scenes. Remember - It gets off to a slow start, so the trial may give you a wrong impression of the game.   10. It is a nice change from the dark, creepy feel of some games. The rooms were usually several screens and your inventory objectives could be found in any of the connected screens. Return to the Dungeon. I'd rather have that than a blurred stretched image like many have. They are listed under goals but it took me a while to get that.
