Spirits of Mystery: The Lost Queen

AMAX Interactive proudly presents the next thrilling chapter in the classic Spirits of Mystery series. Every ten years, the Green Moon rises and your kingdom is attacked by forest spirits. The last attack led to the disappearance of your mother, the Queen. Now, the moon has risen again. Can you uncover the truth about what happened to your mother and save the kingdom from a horrible fate? Find out in this gripping hidden-object puzzle adventure!

I also did not understand why the prince and princess needed a mirror to talk to one another. The puzzles I did play were nothing new and very easy. On opening the gates, she shows her true face: she steals your appearance and enters the fortress as you. I would have liked the extras for this game. The main game included more of a werewolf vendetta that morphed into a nautical nightmare full of menacing octopuses. When the green moon rises this time, your fiance asks for the ring to defend the kingdom. Every 10 years, when a green moon rises, they are free to move and leave the forest. Less than 3 stars on BF and I agree. The reason I gave it 3 stars rather than lower is it was still pretty to look at, a fantasy game my favorite genre and I got it on the 2 for 1 sale. What the heck? It isn't the best game and not the worst. I have every one I would have given this 4 stars if it had not been for the short length.

Hidden object scenes were mostly traditional lists, but beautifully drawn and easy Weather Lord: Legendary Hero! the eyes. My download data was I don't care to be Spirits of Mystery: The Lost Queen with hyperactivity of actions and inundated with brain paining puzzles that can consume a great deal of your life time. The story is secondary to gameplay for me and didn't bother me in this game one way or another. And then there was the game length. Date published: Rated 2 out of 5 by hoosierhasbeen from So Very Treasure Masters I love Spirits of Mystery, but was so disappointed in this game due to it's short length. However, we have surely seen better work from this developer and this series in particular. Felt there should have been another chapter or two or three. Hope this was helpful. Whole parts were missing. Last time their attack was successful and the queen disappeared. I'll be thinking more than twice, before I buy another Spirits of Mystery game! The hidden object scenes play it far too safe with standard formats and an overwhelming number of junk-pile scenes. I don't know. Feel cheated to be honest, and very pleased that I didn't purchase the CE.

The puzzles were for the most part fairly easy with just a few that took some thinking. As all Spirits of Mystery games go, you have to put an end to this madness and discover the real intentions behind this evil scheme. Used to love the games. Although the graphics are very attractive and the gameplay on the easy and player friendly side for those who don't want to be challenged to death, it is the ridiculously short length that is the killer in this one I read all the reviews for the CE of this game and decided to get the SV. What have you done? I thought they were clear and I liked the colors. You meet a woman in front of the gates, she is attacked by forest spirits but with your ring you can save her. Try for yourself. It just abruptly stopped without finishing the story line. The game may be too player friendly for some, but I don't really mind that as there is more time to enjoy and appreciate the beautiful graphical scenery. It astounded me and still does. In this series:. The demo on this was very short and hard to give a review. Further, the simplistic puzzles are just tedious and uninspiried.

It is as if AMAX Interactive has run out of ideas for this series and does not even bother to stay creative. Some developers are just putting out games just to put them out and don't care about quality. I don't recommend this game and will be deleting the demo. But it's like they wanted Farm It to be excited enough to buy the game from the trial period, then rushed to finish it. I completed the main game in less than an hour. I did skip a couple tedious puzzles but only a couple and still hit that 1 hour mark if that. I'll be thinking more than twice, before I buy another Spirits of Mystery Totem Tribe Rated 4 out of 5 by funlovingrams65 from What a Difference. I never got to "save the kingdom," I'm sorry, but this was such a such a disappointment that I may never buy a game again from this developer. Based on what I have read, the game is short as well. Not in the game itself, but just as I was getting in to it, it seemed to end! The main game only Quewn us three hours to Spirlts, and the bonus chapter took us another Battle Slots minutes. I would have given this 4 stars if it had not been for the short length. There is no way Governor of Poker this is CE worthy

There is no way that this is CE worthy I can't recommend someone else buy this game strictly on it's length. I find her very boring, after all these years. It just abruptly stopped without finishing the story line. SO glad I did. The whole game felt rushed to deadline, like it was cobbled together from old pieces, to vaguely fit the series. My advice is wait for the non-collector version or skip it. But gamers don't want less in a game and that includes shortness. I am not at a loss to have acquired this version and am glad to have it. Rated 4 out of 5 by funlovingrams65 from What a Difference. But for those of us, who have purchased over games, this is a little tedious. If you are running on a budget or have limited time on your hands, Spirits of Mystery: The Lost Queen is the one to skip. The puzzles were for the most part fairly easy with just a few that took some thinking. There has not been a game I liked for quite some time.

Too much was left unexplained, even in the back story, and as someone else pointed out, some of the translations into English left a lot to be desired. I like to relax and just have fun. I swear a two year old could do that. Maybe later as an SE. Had I paid full price I'd be really unhappy. I lasted 10 minutes After the demo, there is very little game left. Date published: Rated 3 out of 5 by hoosierhasbeen from Used to be a good series I've been disappointed in last few games in this series. The SG says 5 chapters, plus Bonus chapter, so to be finishing the main game in a bit over two hours was definitely a shock - I don't remember the earlier games being so short. Some developers are just putting out games just to put them out and don't care about quality. Date published: Rated 3 out of 5 by mamajay from Good Idea - Poor Execution I first played this as a beta which was the same as the demo , and quite liked the story. What happened? I don't recommend this game and will be deleting the demo. Date published:

  1. I was disappointed that we couldn't go back and find missing collectibles. And while I did not miss Mortis, or Isa or that darn lens to seek out monsters or poison flowers or whatever, I did miss Nanny. I'm sick of buying a game and it ends after couple of hours. Story is non existent, graphics are horrible, HOs and games are on the infantile side and overall this is just a bad game. I think this SE is worthy of a pcc or a good sale price.

  2. The reason I gave it 3 stars rather than lower is it was still pretty to look at, a fantasy game my favorite genre and I got it on the 2 for 1 sale. I would be happier with one great game a week, then this pattern of daily games that demonstrate little innovation or challenge Also, I don't like games that end abruptly and this one did.

  3. Ok, that's sarcasm eeking from my frustration. If you are a beginner, this might be a good adventure for you. Date published: Rated 3 out of 5 by rainworm from How they could ever think that this was going to be a seller just on the length of the game alone is beyond me

  4. I am not at a loss to have acquired this version and am glad to have it. The majority of the scenes feel derivatives and does not urge the player to explore more. After the demo, there is very little game left. Further, the simplistic puzzles are just tedious and uninspiried. I also did not understand why the prince and princess needed a mirror to talk to one another.

  5. Date published: It was a pleasant change to just relax and enjoy for once. There has not been a game I liked for quite some time.

  6. I liked the story and game play. I think that's where it stopped being a positive experience for me. I think this SE is worthy of a pcc or a good sale price. Everything in this sequel has been copied and pasted from the past installments. The adventure part of the game lacks complexity and challenge, and the magic ring feature adds no entertainment value whatsoever and is an absolute pain to interact with.

  7. Definitely should have read the other reviews, but I really enjoyed the first part of the game and thought it was going to be fun to continue. Hidden object scenes were mostly traditional lists, but beautifully drawn and easy on the eyes. Often I was left wondering what was going on.

  8. The artwork is nice and all, but the watercolor-painted style of the graphics makes the game looks a little cheap. Further, the simplistic puzzles are just tedious and uninspiried. I am not at a loss to have acquired this version and am glad to have it.

  9. Date published: Rated 3 out of 5 by blkqun from Spirits of Mystery: The Lost Queen It was fun but to short, you get into then game and it's over, I would give it 2 stars because you solved nothing for maybe less then and hours playing time. I would have liked the extras for this game. Standard plot and quest, it is not inventive or creative enough for a CE, so I opted for the SE with a free coupon. But gamers don't want less in a game and that includes shortness. Not worth the money.

  11. Further, the simplistic puzzles are just tedious and uninspiried. She could use an up-date. I liked the plot, and it could have been great. The main plot is dull, the pace is slow, the backstory is underdeveloped, and the characters come with poorly-written dialogs and zero memorable characteristics. But it's like they wanted you to be excited enough to buy the game from the trial period, then rushed to finish it.

  12. The artwork is nice and all, but the watercolor-painted style of the graphics makes the game looks a little cheap. The story is secondary to gameplay for me and didn't bother me in this game one way or another. Used to love the games. Plot: Spirit wolves seek revenge
