You thought you’d found a plum assignment covering a beauty pageant in paradise. But then the famous Liberty Stone - which was to be worn by the pageant winner - goes missing. And you’re one of the suspects! The saga of the savvy journalist continues in Eipix’s latest game in the Off the Record series! I particularly enjoy the Caribbean sounds that set the ambience for the game and bring back memories of some special vacations I had in those wonderful islands. As always, this development team knows how to put together a great game with lots of visual appeal that is accompanied by excellent voiceovers that add to the overall package. LOL There is an interactive map which does show places where you have something to do and will transport you to any location on the map. Puzzles were rather easy and I never got hung up on what to do next, so not challenging enough in the most difficult mode. The only real downside to the game is in the HO scenes. They have done better in the past, but this was acceptable. This stone has been the center of attention for quite some time now with two families claiming to be the rightful owners of the spectacular heirloom. Some of the HOS are just regular list finds, my favorite was a progressive silhouette game where you find fruit to mix, and play a minigame where you cut the fruit when a meter is in the green zone, and then add that mixture to a shaker bottle and shake the shaker as fast as you can.

As always, this development team knows how to put together a great game with lots of visual appeal that is accompanied by excellent voiceovers that add to the overall package. All in all, the HOS were fun and I didn't think there was much back and forth involved. Gameplay, graphics and everything else was totally alright with me. When a pageant contestant becomes a victim of an attack, you begin to question your decision to cover this seemingly easy assignment. While playing the game you will find the standard tools available with the additions of a tape recorder that will be used to play cassettes that are found as the game progresses. There was no journal although we keep asking EIPIX for one but the story wasn't too hard to follow and objectives were regularly updated. I never seem to tire of playing their games. The HO scenes were varied Recor:d there were morphing objects to find in these, but I enjoyed them and Stlne not Solitaire: Ted And P.E.T them tedious, as I did with Danse Macabre. All in all The Liberty Stone is a great game and one I am thoroughly enjoying. In a twist of events, it looks like you are being framed for the crime. The Collector's Edition has available Achievements to earn, 12 Collectible Alphabets and 43 hidden Seahorses to collect. I liked the puzzles and games for a change.   5. I do believe you will find it an acceptable game for all ages. I don't know why Eipix does not add this feature. The map should not abut the hint button too easy to click the wrong button.

The story, while I took a bit to catch on what was taking place and going to take place, it was predictable, but kept my interest all the way through. Game includes map to move from place to place.
