Paranormal Files: The Tall Man

Paranormal investigator Rick Rogers is back in his second Paranormal Files investigation from Elephant Games, creators of Grim Tales and Mystery Trackers! A group of friends gathers on the anniversary of their friend's mysterious disappearance in the woods. When history threatens to repeat itself, you are called in to help. One by one, the friends go missing at the hands of the supernatural forces who roam the area. It's a good thing you have protection against dark forces, because this walk in the woods won't be a walk in the park! Track down the missing friends and find out the truth behind the ominous Tall Man and his merry band of terrifying supernatural minions in this chilling and fast-paced Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure game!

I also enjoyed another creative one in the main game in which you locate items on a stained-glass window. Fluidity of game is smooth. She is afraid the same thing will happen this year. A couple of neat plot turns prevent the cliches from becoming overwhelming; actually, by the time we get to an Indiana Jones-style challenge and it's referenced by name, the cliches are pretty darn funny. Paranormal Files: The Tall Man has its moments, but is ultimately a just derivative paranormal adventure. I hate short games, so that in itself was worth at least 3 stars from me. Using arrows to move three rows across, down and sideways, rearrange 3 sets of colored tiles so that each row has tiles of the same color. Great puzzles, some pretty challenging on Hard mode, although Easy is selectable. Love the storyline 'chasing ghosts. The premise of this sequel might not be as grand as the first game, nor it is particularly original, but there are good twists and turns scattered throughout the storyline that help make it engaging. I felt it was sad and made me want to play some more to Charma: The Land of Enchantment out the end. A Last Resort Island of neat plot turns prevent the cliches from becoming overwhelming; actually, by the time we get to an Indiana Jones-style challenge Thhe it's referenced by name, the cliches are pretty darn funny. I play for the story lines. Switch elephants so they are standing on the proper color. I was really amazed when one of the first tasks was a zippered case and it actually had a zipper Maan that worked!! There are a couple of matching scenes along with some multiple-step ones. I also enjoyed another creative one in the main game in which you locate items on a stained-glass window. Filrs: didn't really look for any of the collectibles because I don't like losing much demo time, but the morphs just kind of leaped out at me. I really love the story. While the pacing and 5 Star Miami Resort storytelling are excellent, Paranormal Files: The Tall Man paranormal vibe Talo not necessarily come through. This time, you will face a new menace lurking within this forest.

Voice acting is good but the main player you is a little high pitched but that is a minor flaw. Rick uses his GPS map and sets out to investigate the spooky woods. While the pacing and the storytelling are excellent, the paranormal vibe does not necessarily come through. Connect lines between tokens based on the number of gems upon them. I hate short games, so that Paarnormal itself was worth at least 3 stars from me.


Rick loves his newly discovered abilities to investigate supernatural happenings and hunt for ghosts. I loved everything this game had offer. I love the paranormal games and I think this story will provide a good mystery and some surprises along the way. You can replay thirteen 13 HOP scenes and thirteen 13 puzzles. A party is being planned at a country house near this forest by a group of young adults. While looking for clues in the house, the girl who hired Rick waited outside. The ghosts are oddly drawn and animated, to the point that some of them look comical.

I liked the bonus chapter, so it seemed to balance out. Most of the scenes are lists of items or silhouette. The story line was was about friends getting together for a fun weekend. I loved everything this game had offer. Switch puzzle. Choice between Easy and Hard modes. The story is well-written, and the player will have no idea what this game is about until they complete the demo and get into the rest of the game. The bonus game was long as well, so I was a happy camper. There is something hiding deep within this forest, but who or what that may be is for you to discover. He is off to get to the bottom of all the disappearances that seem to have started about years ago. Voice overs were good, music was unobtrusive, and the collectibles were fairly easy to find. The characters voices were good except for the guy with the goofy accent. And I wasn't disappointed in the final product.

The attention to detail is as impressive as ever, even the hidden object scenes look stunning on screen. There is something hiding deep within this forest, but who or what that may be is for you to discover.

  3. On a 7 x 5 grid, press buttons with directional arrows on them to create a path which ends up at a star button at the exit. Last year, during a weekend getaway, a group of teenagers pulled a prank on their friend, Tina before she mysteriously went missing in the woods. I loved everything this game had offer. I felt it was sad and made me want to play some more to find out the end. I really love the story.

  5. Assembly puzzle. Elephant Games have always been reliably enjoyable but Paranormal Files raise the bar. Collect twelve 12 figurines of characters from the game, twenty-five 25 all-seeing eyes and twenty-seven 27 morphing objects. They vary in style and difficulty. I really love the story.
