AMAX Interactive presents another enchanting fantasy adventure in their classic Spirits of Mystery series! On your journey to save your family you will uncover a dark secret that your family has covered up for many years. Can you restore the bonds of trust or will those that you love remain lost forever to hatred and revenge? Find out in this charming hidden-object puzzle adventure game!

I realize this would require much more work for the developers to put all three of these choices in one game, but this is the solution to solving everyone's opinion of what makes a great game. Along with another Amax game, we are treated to another Gadget! Then you have a magical thing that you wave around the scene to find magical symbols floating in the air, and that charges up the magical thing so you can use to it get rid of said magical poisonous flowers. Replays on 9 movies, 10 hops, 14 mini-games and 4 music. I have all the Spirits of Mysteries and I have enjoyed all of them. I have been playing the game for over four hours and have only stopped to write this review. Date published: Rated 4 out of 5 by paulcindy45 from hidden object Like the game its alittle different than the other Spirts of Mystery that I have played and that is what I like, they need to be different. Therefore, the game becomes frustrating to play; also too many puzzles interrupt the flow of the story. The puzzles have been my least favorite part and even with skipping many of them I think the game is longer than the three chapters would indicate but I play games slowly so what make take me a long time to play isn't necessarily what it might take others to complete. The puzzles have been my least favorite part and even with skipping many of them I think the game is longer than the three chapters would indicate. Honestly, if the story is lacking in context for some reason, and I hope not, I know the visual quality will be enough for me to enjoy it. So I a gave up after only nine minutes. Also, dialogue was well written.

I think the reason so many games are now considered cookie cutters is that the puzzles replace the creativity of storyline and HOS. I think the reason so many games are now considered cookie cutters is that the puzzles replace the creativity of storyline and HOS. I enjoyed the storyline and the gameplay, even the gimmicky Song of the Moon looking glass was still fun to use. There are no Morphing Objects as far as collecting them, but a few of the HOS's had several Morphing Objects that had to be clicked on the correct morph. There are a ton of Mini-Games and smaller puzzles throughout this game, even the Plus-items require solving a puzzle of some sort. They soon discovered why father forbade them when Miranda's curiosity led to her disappearance into the evil abyss. You make our lives more enjoyable because you give us something with which to look forward. I would prefer more HOS than puzzles and would like to see more of a balance. The magical lens gadget that AMAX Interactive keeps including in these Spirits of Mystery games is still a dull and lazy idea, an unnecessary distraction.

My guess is that in another hour I will be moving on to the bonus chapter. Collect 15 spirits cards and 26 morphs. A disappointment for me is that the game did not have as many HOPS as I would like but the ones that were in the game were excellent. Puzzles cut into my enjoyment of a good storyline and quite frankly, I am becoming very tired of playing a HO game to find that they are really becoming puzzle games. I didn't skip any of the mini-games or conversation dialogs, nor did I skip through the cutscenes, and of course I wrote notes. Date published: Besides, we wouldn't want Princess to break a nail! In the CE version, each scene has a slow Morphing Lion's Head, and some of the scenes have Collectible Spirit Cards that allow you to predict your future once the collection is complete. There aren't a lot of Hidden Object Scenes in either the main or the CE bonus chapter, this is definitely a puzzle-heavy game. The SG shows it being there, and the zoom zone was still accessible, but there was NO card, I even tried clicking everywhere just in case I just couldn't see it, but nothing worked! Before I go much further, I have to say that I think no other developer can beat the graphics and the artistic renderings of the characters than those that are created by AMAX. As a doll artist I am swept away by the characters created by this artistic team. I just want to see what is next. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by ronruu from Don't understand bad reviews Spirits of Mystery: Whisper of the Past enjoyed this game even after all the bad reviews. Collect 15 spirits cards and 26 morphs. The sound track is good and I found that there was only one scene that had howling wolves. Some of the more complex puzzles are available in a Casual or Hard Mode of difficulty, but for the most part, they are solvable on the first attempt. A choice of a helper for those of us who Mystery P.I.: The Vegas Heist enjoy these cute little additions to the games. Replays on 9 movies, 10 hops, 14 mini-games and 4 music. This game is a visual delight. I do enjoy puzzles but when they become the game that is where I begin to lose my interest. With the help of the Oracle, Airrin will need all of her strength to overcome the Reapers and free her family from the unseen power that is controlling the Reapers. As a doll artist I am swept away by the characters created by this artistic team. Your games allow us a chance to relax and get away from our hurtles in everyday life. After playing only a small portion of the demo this morning I decided to purchase the full game and have been pleasantly surprised. A disappointment for me is that the game did not have as many HOPS as I would like but the ones that were in the game were excellent. The lion on the tool bar is for the morphs and if it's yellow, you need to find it. So you do that, but you can't rush out to save your sister from the black wraith reaper just yet. There are a ton of Mini-Games and smaller puzzles throughout this game, even the Plus-items require solving a puzzle of some sort. The art work is well worth mentioning, and so are the animations. Spirits of Mystery: Whisper of the Past also features some amazing musical scores and voice-overs, which adds to the experience of the game. The sound track is good and I found that there was only one scene that had howling wolves. Additionally, the well-crafted animations and cutscenes are also effective at maintaining the sense of suspense and urgency. Spirits of Mystery: Whisper of the Past delivers in terms of its production, although not the best we have seen from this developer. In any case, I enjoyed this game very much; I like fantasy games. I enjoyed the mini games, several were very different from the usual in games. Yes, we have the same evil entities trying to make trouble for the Kingdoms but in many ways this is a much milder game that I could play instead of a game that was becoming quite violent in its storylines. I play as Princess Airrin. I didn't skip any of the mini-games or conversation dialogs, nor did I skip through the cutscenes, and of course I wrote notes.

I Heroes of Hellas 2: Olympia all the Spirits of Mysteries and I have enjoyed all of them. Replays on 9 movies, 10 hops, 14 mini-games Spirits of Mystery: Whisper of the Past 4 music. I did run into a glitch with one of the cards not being available in Ranch Rush 2 Collectors Edition 3rd chapter, inside the tree that you heal. The art work is well worth mentioning, and so are the animations. Because some of us are not talented in playing Druid Kingdom, we feel that too many puzzles only make the game longer instead of more enjoyable. Personally, I didn't hate this game, it was exactly as I suspected, a take-it-or-leave-it kinda game. Want to move forward — play a puzzle; need a tool — play a puzzle, and the list goes on, and on, and on. A disappointment for me is that the game did not have as many HOPS as I would like but the ones that were in the game were excellent. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by EveBruin63 from Stunning I have played every one in this series, and they just keep getting more incredible. 1. Yes, we have the same evil entities trying to make trouble for the Kingdoms but in many ways this is a much milder game that I could play instead of a game that was becoming quite violent in its storylines. Whisper of the Past is a great improvement, IMHO, over some of the more recent games in the series and although we have the smoky cloaked Dark Reapers the tone of the game is not as dark as the past four games. Also, I found the hidden object games filled with interesting and clearly identifiable items, the mini games were well designed even if I don't like mini games It's been a long time since I've been impressed by development to detail and quality of design in a game. God Bless and Merry Christmas to all.

  2. There was one lion morph I couldn't find, but I'll go back and find it when I buy the game. The art work is well worth mentioning, and so are the animations. I did run into a glitch with one of the cards not being available in the 3rd chapter, inside the tree that you heal.

  3. I am the one who is to save the Fire Lion Kingdom. You still have to find some shaped keys to get the wolf statue to drop the door key, because doesn't everybody lock themselves inside the house and then lock up the key with yet more keys which you have to find before you can get the key to unlock the key to unlock the front door? There aren't a lot of Hidden Object Scenes in either the main or bonus chapters, this is definitely a puzzle-heavy game. Before I go much further, I have to say that I think no other developer can beat the graphics and the artistic renderings of the characters than those that are created by AMAX. My mom is Queen Lilith.
