Sea of Lies: Beneath the Surface Collectors Edition

Eipix proudly presents the next installment of the beloved Sea of Lies series! Welcome aboard, Doctor! With an increase in pirate attacks, you've been asked to join the crew as the ship's surgeon. What should be a normal voyage quickly turns into a quest filled with giant sea monsters and espionage. It's up to you to discover who's really behind the attacks. Do you have what it takes to help your comrades before it's too late? Find hidden objects and solve puzzles to help along the way.

Towards the end some of the games had no instructions and were difficult to maneuver. The Mini Games are sea worthy, but rather simple to solve, which isn't necessarily bad, just not very challenging. He didn't seemed healed to me. Most of the HOP's are interactive list finds, but there are silhouetted shape finds, descriptions of items to find and even scenes that require you find 5 of the same objects on each side which gives you a tool to unlock the list of items. Match up the correct 6 signal flags on a display map. The music consists of seafaring ditties to get you into the pirate mood. The Hidden Object Scenes are not bad, but again, there's no wow factor. All in all, I think this might be a good game to try. The storyline isn't terribly original, but it does feature a female protagonist who is a surgeon and saves the day. And if that doesn't drive you nuts, the stiff posture of the characters and the horrid phony accents in the dialogue will. Good handicraft. The puzzles are varied and there is a variety of difficult and easy puzzles. What caught my attention in the first place was the introduction: the deep baritone of the guy's voice before the screen came on that took you to the page where you add your name, options, etc

You get to gather some plants , make up a vial and give it to the Mayor and the daughter says she needs to go into the forest to gather enough ingredients for two more potions for her father to be completely healed??? Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by jocasta1 from Puzzles! You crawl to the shores of Puerto Valiz, but the pirates are relentless, as they attempt to cut off all sources of communication. The graphics are beautiful, colorful, and capture the nautical theme. Rotate four rings on a spyglass to create a picture. Transporter map is also awkward and takes awhile to get used to where to click for movement Nicely done. The game curser is way too big and clumsy but it can be changed. It's the latest in the Sea of Lies series, and has a good story, great graphics and interesting puzzles even inside the HO scenes. Most of the HOP's are interactive list finds, but there are silhouetted shape finds, descriptions of items to find and even scenes that require you find 5 of the same objects on each side which gives you a tool to unlock the list of items. I like collecting the captain wheels. Moving one affects the others. FROG scene. Awkward game-play. The cinematics are excellent, voiceovers are good, well drawn characters, and most tasks are logical. I hate the Sparkle Unleashed forward kind of HOS.

The cinematics are excellent, voiceovers are good, well drawn characters, and most tasks are logical. Date published: Rated 3 out of 5 by lbtgam from Could've been better It was an OK game, I will probably play again. Not to happy with the graphics. The scenery is highly varied, with a lot of internal and external sets allowing a wide range of color and design. There's a bit of potion-mixing, and I'm lukewarm on that. This is another great addition to The Sea of Lies, although none of them seem to hold a candle to the original episode. Achievements are included, including watching the credits for Eipix' silly remarks. This is no ordinary fog, and those are no ordinary pirates! I thoroughly enjoyed it. What makes this difficult is that you must move these obstacles using wheels within the maze. The story is straightforward and easy to follow. The man next to him a chauvinistic man of course asks the captain 'Why would you ask her to steer the ship. This little semi-precious gem has a pirate theme, which suits me, with a dash of Mayan culture.

  1. In the 36 mins of the demo that I played, I played two HOS, and it was your typical find one part, and that part connected to another part, etc my favorite kind. Some silhouettes. HOS are interactive but also awkward and the puzzles the same. The puzzles include a devious little physics problem along with a rotating rings puzzle and a moving tiles puzzle.

  2. You can replay 15 HOP scenes and 17 Mini-games. Im tired of magic or blue and purple steam or mists and evil underlords. So awesome. 6. Until I got tired, this is what I encountered in the demo: I met a woman from the island who collected poisonous plants. A pirate attack and a monster attack at the same time? EASY B. I am a-maze-d.

  7. Ship flag puzzle. And, of course, moving one flag affects the others. The puzzles in the demo include sliding tiles puzzles, matching puzzles, manual dexterity puzzles, maze puzzle and mathematical puzzles. The Hidden Object Scenes are not bad, but again, there's no wow factor.

  8. The story is straightforward and easy to follow. Collectibles include ship's wheels "signs" , which can be glaringly obvious or subtle. Been with Big Fish since , and love love love their games, but have not loved them all, as we all have not loved them all. There are the usual wallpaper, artwork, music, plus 9 videos.
