I love BF games but have never written a review prior to this. Those minor complaints aside, I really did enjoy this game. I do recommend this game. The game was not in the usual macabre setting that we have become used to. You find your way to the shores of Arcelia Island, which you thought was a fairy tale your whole life, and find your father alive The puzzles were few, but the ones you do encounter are fun and interesting. It kept my attention. Well, you have to save your father, so you start to explore the island and learn its secrets. The graphics were light, clean and refreshing.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!! I enjoyed this game from start to finish. So many games are the same old search a room, place an object, a mini-game or HOS once in awhile, and a lot of back tracking. As a result, the The Secrets of Arcelia Island became addictive as I just had to save the day!! Looking forward to more like this! The Secrets of Arcelia Island is an all-around great game. I came across this little jewel while searching for something different. See for yourself. It's a nice touch and adds a little more flare to the game. I won't tell you any more than that, because the storyline is very involved and you'll want to learn it all for yourself. I personally think she's just really stressed over final exams, final papers, and realizing she's moving back to Pennsylvania to live with her parents full-time for the first time in years. Let me tell you a little story It was not easy finding all 42 pieces either, but I have noted every single one and included a complete list of where they are located Trade Mania case you find you are missing a few. There were occasions when I wasn't quite sure what to do next, which meant wandering about until I found a hidden object area, someone to talk to, or that I simply realized what I had in my inventory could be used in a certain spot. No map but the island isn't that big. There was a lot of going back and forth through the locales in order to complete tasks. There is not any voice acting so I had to read the script and journal, which Magic Match found contained a wonderful story. The 5 Spots thing that took The Secrets of Arcelia Island from the game was an occasional typo.

The art is great - some items are small but easy to see - everything is clear and the actions are logical so they are not too difficult to figure out. The game was not in the usual macabre setting that we have become used to. Yes, there is going to be a sequel! As a result, the game became addictive as I just had to save the day!! I particularly liked the fairies. As I just mentioned, the plot is great. There were no voiceovers! The puzzles were few, but the ones you do encounter are fun and interesting. The hint button gives real hints - not just tells you what to do next. They were not extremely hard either, but I did include detailed instructions, screenshots, and a few videos for you. This game could have been phenomenal with voiceovers, as there was quite a bit of dialogue in the game.

As a result, I became totally immersed in this game and all of my troubles literally faded away as I forged on and tried to save the beautiful fairies from the evil witch. You find your way to the shores of Arcelia Island, which you thought was a fairy tale your whole life, and find your father alive I loved the graphics and music. Some commented on the back and forth of switching scenes, but that added to the fun. I never got impatient with the cut scenes and I was glad there were no voiceovers.
