Here, however, the bonus chapter provides a much more satisfying end to the overall story, imo. The Graphics on this game were stellar! Beyond: Light Advent is a story-focused adventure game. I ended up buying the Collectors edition because I had a voucher. The lighting effects were phenomenal. It is among my absolutely top favorite games and mgiht be the first one I actually play twice. You had an imaginary friend when you were young who turned out to be an alien that's come to save the planet! About the only thing that would have made it better would have been if your name could have been put into the story instead of the generic character name. Usually, I don't buy CEs because I find the collectibles incredibly annoying and the whole package often somewhat overpriced. I honestly didn't want it to end. There are plenty of situations here where you put things together plane parts, antennae, etc or search for necessary things in a way that you can imagine actually doing in such a situation, in real life Wonderful story with twists and turns. Regardless, the artwork in Beyond is amazingly drawn and painted — each game looks terrific and could make a perfect desktop wallpaper. Great visuals.

Would play again just to enjoy the music, ambience, and graphics. But if gameplay to you is the exploring and collecting items etc then, yes, the many cut scenes might be irritating. It's a great, cinematic start to the game, and the devs don't take their foot off the gas pedal as you jump on your motorcycle and head out Mystery P.I.: The Vegas Heist the dark to explore the meteorite wreckage, unearthing facts about an advanced UFO race along the way. Had I known there was a Collectors Edition, I would have purchased that one just for the bit of extra play. Luckily, "Beyond" is part of that stellar class. I highly recommend this game.   2. The hidden object scenes are some of the best in the industry; many of them come with sub-scenes inside themselves, as well as some fun mini-games. I cannot overstate how rare that is in any HOA game. I ended up buying the Collectors edition because I had a voucher.

Although there are not many characters in Beyond, each of them has such rich personality that makes us want to revisit the game just for a chance to hang out with them again.
