And here, you can't even see what all the pictures are going to be, unlike the jigsaw puzzle games. Then I came to a level within the first block of puzzles where the background was sooooo dark, I couldn't see the shape of the pieces! Don't worry though, this game has a Relaxed mode, and it's just as much fun when you're not racing against the clock. My favorite so far is the stockinged feet in front of the blazing fire. There are 6 Different locations and each location has 20 different puzzles to complete. Its a buy for me. I love mosaics, and what could be better than Christmas themed mosaics with so many materials to work with, wood, cloth, paper, stone, metal, glass and gems! In some puzzles, it made them more difficult, but not in a fun, challenging way. These are classic! I love the transition from felt to glass to marble to wood ect.. That would be a super cool feature to add, and I'm sure other Mosaic fans would agree with me.

I play on Relaxed mode, because I can't imagine trying to beat the clock. The challenges are appropriate. Yes, it is not like the real Patchworkz-type Christmas Mosaic Puzzle where there are textures to match as well as colors and shapes. There is a hint option, which I don't like to use, so I often have to restart to get all my stars. But this game is painfully boring. I remember when these games were Angelo introduced, they didn't have a relaxed mode, and sometimes when it's a hustle and bustle kind of day, so it's nice to just kick back and relax now and then! Conclusion: the second group of puzzles is no different in character from the first group.

To earn 3 stars you must finish the puzzle without any mistakes and within the allotted time. It's relaxing for me. You can buy more hints or add 30 seconds to the time with the coins you earn. Judge it for itself. So, instead, they took old photos and randomly cut them apart. Now I have to go back and play the Halloween game again to see if my rating was too low. Each seems prettier than the next.

Christmas Mosaic Puzzle like both modes, but I wish there was still a timer on the relaxed mode that shows how long the puzzle takes you to complete, and what time frame that particular puzzle would be if you weren't playing in the relaxed mode.

In fairness, I keep my screen darker than most to avoid eye strain and I have a large, great quality device; however, when playing these games, I increase the brightness substantially. Or semi photos -- different photos pasted together into some sort of picture, sometimes with some artwork thrown in for example, mantlepiece details. Otherwise, I probably would have only given it 1 or 2 stars. I play on Relaxed mode, because I can't imagine trying to beat the clock. The pictures are colorful and very clear. These are challenging! But this game is painfully boring. You must make the required amount of points to unlock the next location, and you earn coins for the correctly placed pieces. Such originality!

There are 6 different halls 20 games each with each hall using different materials cloth, wood, marble, etc. After playing a few pictures, I did agree with lillfive, but I decided that I would try to move ahead to the next level to see if the pictures got better. Also, the way the pictures were cut up added to my interest. There are 6 Different locations and each location has 20 different puzzles to complete.

  2. If you are playing in the Relaxed mode, you will automatically earn the third star. Also, the music is that same old 8th floor music that we are all getting pretty tired of. I don't listen to the music and don't care about story lines. If you are a puzzle geek, or have the need for speed, this is an awesome puzzle with beautiful pictures of holiday decorations, featuring treats, decorations, family, presents, snowmen and even Santa himself, enjoy!

  3. Its a buy for me. One thing I did like, was that you didn't have to continuously hold the pieces. You can buy more hints or add 30 seconds to the time with the coins you earn. I wish 8 Floor, the developers of this game, would make more each year.

That would be a super cool feature to add, and I'm sure other Mosaic fans would agree with me.
