It needed some color and no pop outs! I found this to be an interesting story, even though we still had ghosts to deal with. There did not seem to be any "dead air" during the demo. The story begins with the main character going to the Kilbourn Observatory in order to investigate some strange events that took place there, but things turn rather grim pretty quickly. As such, instead of haunted hotels or prisons you are investigating an observatory where strange things have been happening. Yes, we have a jump map, but it is very bland and boring and detracts from the rest of the game. Not only that, but everyone dismisses every bad sign until someone is dead or severely injured. Hence, your partner is kidnapped by some kind of evil entity, so your job is to enter the observatory and find a way to rescue your friend. Puzzles didn't seem difficult to me and there wasn't anything new. Game play was excellent, with no glitches or problems during the demo. These are done very well. Animation was excellent and realistic, with eye and mouth movement, and they are very smooth. We all have different tastes in games and you may not care for this one at all. Still, it was not hard to follow and you are constantly on the move.

A little disappointing. There are not a lot of HOPs or puzzles in this one, at least not during the demo, hopefully it picks up a bit as we go along. The artwork is as pretty as ever, especially since the backgrounds usually feature dreamy landscapes, creepy locations or all sorts of nasty creatures.   3. We all have different tastes in games and you may not care for this one at all. As usual, I review mostly on the game play and leave the story line to those who do a much better job than I. Naturally, the animations can be a bit disappointing sometimes, but there is only so much you can achieve with this type of technology.
