Royal Detective: Borrowed Life Collectors Edition

Elephant Games presents the next chilling installment of the Royal Detective series! You’ve been summoned to the sleepy town of Dorfield to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a famous local sculptor. His wife claims that his “living” statues are to blame, but what is really going on? Uncover the truth, before it’s too late, in this sensational hidden-object puzzle adventure game!

The only problem with this procedure, is that the statues don't feel all warm and fuzzy inside, and their loved ones are having a difficult time loving something that's not all warm and fuzzy on the outside. Great job! I purchased this game and this is not based on the demo. If there is one downside, it appears that this will likely be a short game but I haven't played far enough to adequately judge that. Royal Detective: The Princess Returns a middle-of-the-road adventure that is as safe as can be, even its breathtaking production cannot save it from becoming one long snooze-fest. The voices sounded clear and natural. The Hidden Object Scenes are varied, and have done an amazing job of making them somewhat challenging. Unfortunately, Royal Detective: The Princess Returns does not come close to the glory of the first game. God Bless Not only that, but the Princess does not feel like a character worth rooting for, considering how long ago the first Royal Detective game was released. The bonus game is a save the love of your life story which is an added plus. None of the Royal Detective games have been as epic as the first game in this series, but I loved the storyline on this game as well. There is a jumping map which is great. For me, it was more like ironing or doing dishes all day when all I want is a fun, relaxing time-out

The game is straight forward, easy to play and for more experienced players I would recommend to customize the level of challenge. You won't be disappointed!!! Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by wildlifecrusader from Great Game Just played the trial and didn't find out by nowwho is Forrest Gump Match 3 Game evil one, the statue or Tristan's wife. But I love the storyline and it keeps me interested. It was fun finding 28 morphs and 12 talismans in the scenes. Give it a try, not sure how long this game is, but I'm hoping it goes Royal Detective: Borrowed Life Collectors Edition for a while. Nonetheless, we can always rely on Elephant Games to wow us with dazzling visuals. They were challenging and interactive, very nicely done. The usual CE bling is all included and if you haven't played the first game purchase that CE version as well. Bravo, it's nice looking. You meet the living statue Henrietta, a sweet granny whose living statue granddaughter Maya tells you the secret of evil statues with red eyes and kind statues with green eyes. Regardless of how well-engineered it is, the gameplay could definitely use some risk-taking and creative ideas. I purchased this game and this is not based on the demo. This has led the statues to form a coup d'etat which is even more unbelievable, do the statues also have a brain but no soul?

The usual CE bling is all included and if you haven't played the first game purchase that CE version as well. For sure I'll buy it , can't wait playing it to the end. Seeing and hearing her speak and noticing the moss starting to spread on her, made me realize the sadness of this story, knowing that her husband loved and missed her so much that he tolerated this ungodly replica. Nonetheless, we can always rely on Elephant Games to wow us with dazzling visuals. I knocked a star off for the excessive amount of relaxed puzzles in a Hops game. Weird, very weird. Henrietta was a sweet, contented statue whose pet parrot was also made of stone. The bonus chapter is what happens afterwards and it's nice and has a happy ending. One can only hope. For me, it was more like ironing or doing dishes all day when all I want is a fun, relaxing time-out The Mini Games are very doable, somewhat on the easy side, but again, I didn't find any of the games to be boring. You have to find morphs of course, other than that I have not seen any other items to collect.

I Loved the unique storyline to this series. But I love Royaal storyline and it keeps me interested. Boreowed is a jumping map which is great. I was happy to see the 3 screensavers, I use them for a while. The Achievements' page has a empty place where a stone mural of Fairy Nook are placed to complete the gathering of stone statues. It has 3 long chapters and the bonus chapter has part 1 and 2. Regardless of how well-engineered it is, the gameplay could definitely use some risk-taking and creative ideas.

For sure I'll buy it , can't wait playing it to the end. They have not been lovingly accepted by the ones who asked Tristan for these anomalies. I would have liked the Hops scenes to be bigger in scale to see them better. Find out what this mysterious man is up to and help the Princess on her dangerous journey! Have to engage my great imagination for this one! Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by heartblob from Royal Detective borrowed life so short This is an excellent game, graphics , music, scenery everything you want in a game BUT toooo short, I had finished it before I knew what was happening, very disappointed that a C E would be so short , but can't fault the game it is great ' Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by codom from The old Elephant Games Returns! It flows very well. The Achievements' page has a empty place where a stone mural of faces are placed to complete the gathering of stone statues. Unfortunately, Royal Detective: The Princess Returns does not come close to the glory of the first game. For people who love the extras as much as me. Even though they were not too difficult, I really enjoyed them. From the opening cut-scene, I could tell that Elephant had returned to much of the graphics glory of their past. It's not that hard, it's fun to play, I like the story line. As for purchasing, it's up in the air right now. The hand-drawn graphics were beautiful, IMO.

Who would figure the statues would take on personalities of the people they resemble? I am curious to know if Tristan has any emotional attachment to any of his amazing creations. It's not that hard, it's fun to play, I like the story line. Had fun with the morphing objects and replay of puzzles and hidden objects hunt. I liked the unusual nature of this Royal Detective game and hopefully it contains more entertainment than I was exposed to. The only problem with this procedure, is that the statues don't feel all warm and fuzzy inside, and their loved ones are having a difficult time loving something that's not all warm and fuzzy on the outside. For me, it was more like ironing or doing dishes all day when all I want is a fun, relaxing time-out The usual CE bling is all included and if you haven't played the first game purchase that CE version as well. I wish I could give this more than 5 stars. It is a typical Elephant game with brilliant colours and great art work. So far the level of challenge is somewhere in the middle range. Bravo, it's nice looking. I encountered a few HOGs which I liked very much. Just to be fair I gave it 5 stars.

  1. I was so excited to see another Royal Detective game, but nothing comes close to the first one , Lord of the statues. None of the Royal Detective games have been as epic as the first game in this series, but I loved the storyline on this game as well. Bravo, it's nice looking. The puzzles are good, challenging enough yet not to bad. And what do you feed them

As it is now, the adventure part is predictable and the hidden object scenes are just acceptable. The only problem with this procedure, is that the statues don't feel all warm and fuzzy inside, and their loved ones are having a difficult time loving something that's not all warm and fuzzy on the outside. Another comparison I will make with the original Lord of Statues is that the graphics have gone downhill ever since, especially when compared with the last three games.

  7. Great job! Had fun with the morphing objects and replay of puzzles and hidden objects hunt. Sometimes the demo just isn't long enough, depending on the tasks at hand. When the story unfolds and Tristan learns that his wife isn't dead at all and he now has two Olivia's subsequently the story and gameplay drafts you into an adventure that is truly marvelous. Or is it just me?!

Even though all this is impossible, I still found myself enjoying the demo, unlike some game demo's I wasn't bored, hoping the demo would just end. The storyline and gameplay are great. It's not that hard, it's fun to play, I like the story line. What a conundrum!
