Chronoclasm Chronicles

Jane stumbles upon a time machine while visiting her late uncle's house. She excitedly uses it and causes a temporal clash. The future and past start to meld together to create a time paradox. The fate of humanity hangs in the balance and only Jane can stop it! Travel to 17th century France, ancient India and visit the mysterious Mayans to correct the time paradox and save the world in this engaging hidden object puzzle adventure.

I started this morning about 9:AM and finished around A. However, I would not have spent the money to buy the game. Waste of my time. It was like one chapter. I uninstalled it. That ought to please folk who prefer a challenge. The cursor is too large. The story isn't interesting or new, the hidden objects are easy to find and the minigames are easy. The game is quite short. I don't believe anyone will want to buy it, but it's not a bad place to spend an hour. I was done too quickly. There's a box with keys on the wall. I played it in about an hour. Puzzles were ok.

Truly very short and I am a middle of the road player. It's very slow to react to mouse clicks, so you don't know if you're in the right place or doing the right thing. There Secret Trails: Frozen Heart almost no walking to other areas, so you don't have to worry about navigation, but there sure are a lot of "now what? Not enough story--too disjointed. The description of this game sounded interesting, but after playing the demo, I was not impressed and will not be purchasing. Thank goodness for funpass. Waste of my time. No buy for me. There aren't many puzzles, but there are some Chronoclasm Chronicles where you are required to perform actions other than finding hidden objects. So of course she has to go to other places to find items out of time and put them back where they belong. The music is very repetitive, and sounds like a calliope or organ Chronoclasm Chronicles. Very poor game and very frustrating to try and play. The cursor changes to an eye when you are supposed to look Sugar Crime something, however, if you skim too quickly over it, the eye will Chronoclasm Chronicles up and then disappear, and then you're stuck scrolling around looking for the exact pixel that will make it pop up again. I was atonished when I realised I was at the end and there were no more scenes to wade through.

I take my time to look around, and play in a casual mode. But if there are other games by this publisher, then there should be better construction. The puzzles that I did manage to locate were interesting and not overly difficult. Very poor game and very frustrating to try and play. The music is very repetitive, and sounds like a calliope or organ grinder. There were a lot of spots that prompted an annoying text box at the top, but then you had to get rid of that in order to search for a spot that you could actually work with! Objects you need to pick up and use are not just in the HOS but scattered around the locations, and puzzles are not always obvious initially, for example in Chronoclasm Chronicles instance, MILD SPOILER you need to dry a map, and you have to try over and over to get it dry because it keeps blowing away. It has very poor direction. I'm in a 2 scene segment and can't find any way out of it. There were a lot of spots that prompted an annoying text box at the top, but then you had to get rid of that in order to search for a spot that you could actually work with! I think most regular HOG'ers could easily finish or nearly finish in the trial time. I don't believe anyone will want to buy it, but it's not a bad place to spend an hour. Even using the hint button, it was difficult to find the interactive areas that you could actually work with. Truly very short and I am a middle of the road player. I am NOT giving this thing more of my time that I will never get back, that's for sure. There is almost no walking to other areas, so you don't have to worry about navigation, but there sure are a lot of "now what? What was there had promise, though.

It's aggravating when you know that is the object you're supposed to find. Which may be an odd thing to say to about a time-travel game, but still.

  2. The game is quite short. I didn't care for the mini game to set up the time machine destination, but it does let you skip after awhile. I was done too quickly.
