The only time the lip sync bothers me is if the characters mouths are moving but no voice. It takes place 3 months later. The characters are almost lifelike, but cartoonish at the same time, with not so great lip syncing. The pictures are cross sketched and once you find the items the sketch fills with color and a VO tells more story. They displayed just fine on my computer screen. It is evident many blood, sweat and tears went into to create it. Plus items in inventory. This game did become a buyer for me, the SE version. Hurry and find it before the Shadows! You can opt for a game of Mahjong instead, but Mahjong is too boring. Musical score fit the era and was very lovely. Yes, there is a wonderful journal that keeps track of the story as we move through the game. If I need help I will use the hint. There are lip-synced voiceovers that are quite good and I love the British accent.
There are none from the main game. It was adorable and fun. Geez those little buggers were so well hidden!! Sorry I can't go into any more detail. Sunnyglow, I can't wait to get to the nonogram! The graphics are good, the cut scenes are even better and I love the british accents. When your partner Jason Palmer becomes "unavailable" you are thrust into this investigation not knowing who to trust Although the game is a buy for me, as always, I suggest you at least try the demo to see if this is a game you will enjoy. Musical score fit the era and was very lovely. You'll need all your wits to decipher the clues and assemble the Sapphire Codex. Still, the developer needs to work on the audio side of the game. In Mystery Crusaders Resurgence of the Templars there are secret assassins, the Shadows, to deal with as well as nasty hoteliers so you will definitely need to be on your toes as others try to prevent you from finding the truth. I'm not a fan of these though. Jason was looking for The Blue Veil, which was lost centuries ago.
Afrique Mystery Crusaders: Resurgence of the Templars
I didn't mind. Musical score fit the era and was very lovely. However, the developer has finally taken a big step forward in terms of the production and modernized its graphics. I did skip out of a couple of puzzles, not because they were too The Chronicles of King Arthur: Episode 2 - Knights of the Round Table but because Templasr were time-consuming and I didn't want to waste demo time. Yes, there is a wonderful journal that keeps track of the story as we move through the game. As for achievements, collectibles, morphs these things are no longer a part of my buying decision. The demo seemed to Slingo Deluxe about 5 minutes - ths a good sign. Wish more developers did this. In the Custom mode you can set the hint and Resurgejce recharge times in a range between 15 — seconds. Some are very small. For example, you pick up a knife and zoom into a teddy bear that has something sewn inside, you use the knife to open up the threads and King Arthur an item that is used on another item which exposes another item and so forth. Hurry and find Mystery Crusaders: Resurgence of the Templars before the Shadows! Although the game is a buy for me, as always, I suggest you at least try the Mytery to see if tge is a game you will enjoy. The Mini Games are not bad, some are old standards, others are either newer or have a new take on an old standard.
I would have purchased the CE if the goodies were better. Unfortunately none of the bonus content is unlocked until the game is purchased so there is not a lot to see in the demo version of the game. Gorgeous graphics, puzzles range from "easy" to "no way can I get this done! All new locations. I also had no problem with the character animation and thought the voice overs a well done however sometimes the characters had lip sync, sometimes not. If you always prefer the in-game strategy guide then you will want the CE for that reason alone. I had some major issues with getting the interactive, windowed items to place once they were acquired because the programming is so touchy and we must hit the exact spot for an item to take. Call me old school, but I love having a diary or journal that gathers my information as I progress. I love the Templar related storyline and the mystery associated with the game and even though the touchy HOPS put me off a bit, because of a great sale this weekend I decided to buy the CE. You can opt for a game of Mahjong instead, but Mahjong is too boring. I love wandering around in the game. I find this so annoying.
Great story I really liked cut scenes. Once you clear Sparkle Unleashed Sir William gives you basic directives only to be kidnapped before your very eyes. Still, the developer needs to work on the Sparkle Unleashed side of the game. There did not seem ov be much variety in the Crusadres: with most of them being slightly interactive list type scenes. Gorgeous graphics, puzzles range from "easy" to "no way can I get this Te,plars I couldn't adjust it in the options. It has a thrilling storyline, the graphics are realistic and crystal clear and the minigames are nicely challenging. In my opinion, there are too many HOP's and not enough bling to qualify for a decent Collector's Edition. We enjoyed the graphics and the story, perhaps the developer could work on the gameplay part on their next project.
I really welcomed this compared to most of the games that have been released and that is way too much blue, pink and purple color. The locations are named however have to hover your mouse to see them. There is an interactive transporter type map and it is located on a tab in the journal. Also I can choose to play mahjong instead of searching for hidden objects, which is a very nice extra. Rated 5 out of 5 by kerith90angel from The more you play this one, the better it gets! After being shot Jason asks you to meet Sir William Theraux who has valuable information about the blue veil but refuses to speak with you until you show him you don't have the neck tattoo secret assassins have. I'm not a fan of these though. I play most of these on a large 27" monitor and the graphics degrade on the larger monitor. Call me old school, but I love having a diary or journal that gathers my information as I progress. Geez those little buggers were so well hidden!! Wish more developers did this. Maybe it is just me and this won't happen for you. It's an adventure game- HOPs should be at a minimum. The CE is very light on extras and is quite bare bones with only the standards such as the strategy guide and bonus chapter. The best way I can describe it, is that it's kind of like a B rated movie with those typical awkward camera angles, like it was filmed with a camcorder.
