I did not see where that number would be indicated, however, I was told on more than one occasion that I had many too many mistakes. The clanking sound that's made when you "open" a tile is, though, extremely annoying. I hope everyone gives this a try - before you buy. Likewise, the music is serene, Asian in tone, and ethereal. VERDICT I am not good enough at these type of puzzles to be able to compare the degree of difficulty at higher levels, but at the lower levels, they do seem to be more difficult than other games like this. Recommend this for hours of puzzle solving fun. As in any numbers games of this type, the object is to form pictures by "opening" tiles on the game board both horizontally and vertically using a set pattern of numbers you are given. It is a flexible game, and you can learn as you go. In addition, there are no trophies, so no real goal. There are way too few levels for the Asian Riddles 2 of getting through them. I would like to see more logic games like The Mahjong Huntress made available through game house. Each new level Ridles in difficulty, but the hints and mistakes allowance also improve. You can buy more hints and more mistakes allowed in the store but I bought out the store after having completed just a few rooms and never really needed the items to solve any of the puzzles. I probably won't buy the game because of the lack of color. This is the only reason I gave 4 stars.

  1. Like a previous reviewer I was a little annoyed that I had to resort to guesswork a couple of times, but so far that was only two of the puzzles. Beginners would probably get restless, bored and annoyed. I think this game is really good value for money.

  3. To mark a tile as empty, it is possible to either change it on the interface at the right hand side, or right click. You can repeat any level as many times as you like to get the full rating. Each new level increases in difficulty, but the hints and mistakes allowance also improve. I like the tiles the game uses, as they look like tiles, and the sound effect putting them down is appropriate. There's a new one out, Mystery Riddles, that also seemed very good, but I don't think that one's out on Big Fish yet.
