Firstly because as another viewer as said it Sparkle Unleashed not "cookie cutter" The HOS have a lot of different variants, which keeps your interest up; some I've not seen before in other games. It was lighthearted fun if you can call a murder mystery lighthearted. However, after playing this game Memoira its Miracles, I simply had to review it. Not as many HOPs as I would have liked, but the ones present require interactions in order to obtain, some are hidden behind other objects, so can be tricky to find. Artwork and graphics are excellent as always. Not too shabby, just not too interesting. Then she falls to the floor dead; she's Pies poisoned. Tto even one for listening to an old man who works at the docks tell a story. Suspicion 1. If you are an old HOP gamer like myself, believe me when I tell you that you will truly be happy you invested in this game! It takes place in contemporary setting with s VW van but the housekeeper for the mayor is dressed in full length dress from late s? The dog ran away, and the maid went after it. Mildred immediately accuses you of murdering Dorothy, the police arrest you and take you to the police station for Welcoe.
Suspicion 1. Stricken with panic by what you've just witnessed you head to the fireplace and see a small niche' behind a brick. The storyline is excellent. Make note that when your satchel bag which holds clues glows, you need to place the clues and evidence gathered onto the wall where it is sorted before you can proceed. Throw in a bunch of great puzzles and HOGs, some goofy humor, smile at the typical personality types, check out the 80s detail along the way, get busy solving a fun murder mystery and you have a fantastic game to keep you occupied for a good while. The Mini-Games aren't bad for the most part, some of which are new or have newish twists. It takes place in contemporary setting with s VW van but the housekeeper for the mayor is dressed in full length dress from late s? A good mystery, and no ghost or magic or short side kicks to deal with, Puzzles we just challenging enough not to force you to skip or run to the strategy guide. Rated 5 out of 5 by shelterhill from Surprisingly good Played the demo of the collectors edition and was put of by all the annoying pop-ups with the great achievement I've just gotten.. We need to shoot all the demons, monsters, witches and soul stealers to the moon! While going further into the game I am surprised that it is really good. It was lighthearted fun if you can call a murder mystery lighthearted. You rush to the floor to inspect Dorothy's condition and find ash on her sleeve from the fireplace in her room. Overall, a really nice game to play. I even understand the storyline don't always get that, but it could be lack of attention and Sparkle Unleashed the HOS, they are exceptionally well crafted and my only complaint is that there are not so many of them. I sincerely hope they make a second one like this. It really was a truly unique experience. Graphics and music, story line, interactive play Zumas Revenge the characters, different scenes and HO's super. Puzzles are mostly reasonable. Dorothy has been confined to her bed with terrible headache's since her car accident some months ago. The same is true for the music. Oh, I do love this game! I hope they do more of these types of games, or even make this a series. Extremely well done! The story being about how this couple Mr. Date published: Rated 4 out of 5 by ninja from Better than the reviews suggest This is a good game, but by no means perfect, which is why it gets 4 instead of 5 stars from me. Graphics and music, story line, interactive play of the characters, different scenes and HO's super. Dorothy has been confined to her bed with terrible headache's since her car accident some months ago. The Mini-Games aren't bad for the most part, some of which are new or have newish twists. I want to go back and play as the husband, as I chose to start with the wife in my first time playing. The graphics are horrible! Because they were so intimidated, they were terrified of breaking the rules, so they acted as if everything was perfect, and wouldn't speak about all the "rules" they were forced to obey. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by skullfun from me This is one intriguing murder mystery you don't want to miss! Some of the HOP's are well done, however, the graphics aren't that impressive and one of the HOP's with keywords didn't make a whole lot of sense as far as related items go. I sincerely hope they make a second one like this.
The storyline is excellent. It just goes on and on and love it. The story is good, but there are some incongruous aspects that don't make sense. Good job!!! The way that the characters worked and allowed the player to switch who they were playing as, was not necessarily a new twist but was done really well. The level of challenge is "just right". I haven't enjoyed a game this much in a while. Not this one! They have you collect clues, among everything else you do, and use an evidence board. I do kind of wish that they would have added a few extra touches. I would recommend this game to all. Occasionally you get to switch identities between the husband and wife protagonist, which worked very well. They were all different and interesting enough that I played all of them again after the initial game and the bonus games were complete. If you are bored with the numerous editions of various Eipix games series then you definitely have something to look forward to with this five star release.
One I can think of, as they mention it repeatedly, is the Dead Reckoning series. As always, try the demo first. The way that the characters worked and allowed the player to switch who they were playing as, was not necessarily a new twist but was done really well. Main Story and Bonus Chapter are a treat, extras are very well done. I really don't have anything negative to say about this game. Puzzles are mostly reasonable. How wonderful to drop in on the 80s again. It works very well with the story and allows another perspective. I love that we have a murder mystery and setting that is so similar to Murder She Wrote loved that series! As far as the CE version's worthiness, this game falls short there as well, offering a hidden Present in each scene and Morphs within the HOP's. As always, play the trial first to see if it fits your playing style. The beginning has the characters offer to tell the story to a young woman. Was a nice length and the bonus chapter was good too. I get tired of monsters and ghosts all the time. I sat down to play it and was thrilled by what I saw.
