The Magic Pearl is stolen and it's up to Alice to find it in Mermaid Adventure: The Magic Pearl. Sprutto, the dasterdly octopus, snuck into the treasure room and ran off with the Magic Pearl. The Pearl controls the sea and its absence will create a torrent of storms that will sink all of the ships! Join Alice and her friend, Crabby the crab, as they track down Sprutto and the Magic Pearl in this charming Match 3 game.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a game he could play too. Help the brave mermaid find all the parts of the magical clock and save her world in the colorful game Mermaid Adventures: the Frozen Time! Given the obstacles and sometimes just too few good matches, as well as the convoluted board shapes at higher levels, this can get the player stuck for quite a while doing much of nothing, just to unblock the crab's path. Having to click on her constantly slowed the flow of the game. And for those people that are even slightly moused challenged it can be rather difficult to correctly select the token images to be 'matched'. The object is to match 3 of the same object to and you have to finish in the time aloted. I feel that a child can have hours of fun with this game. You can't make chains with them. Not the most exciting one I have ever played but this will do when I need to get my mind somewhere else. I enjoyed it for myself as well. She blocks up the view at the bottom and can waste precious time. The only thing I find annoying is that Mermaid picking up the pearls.. The mermaid swimming noise is annoying but I've gotten used to it. Earn points and get a Seahorse award! From the Turtle she learns that an evil Octopus has just stolen Save the underwater world from an evil Octopus in a gorgeous game Mermaid Adventures: the Frozen Time! He could play it easily after being shown what to do. She blocks up the view at the bottom and can waste precious time. The only thing I find annoying is that Mermaid picking up the pearls.. Which made the game extermely challenging and well into the frustration mode. Watch out! The hidden object scenes are a little difficult for her. This is not like any other match 3 I have played and you really do have to put thought into the movement pattern of objects to win the levels. I really think BFG needs another category to cover these sliding 'match 3' games.

The longer the chains are, the more scores you get. There also seemed to be a bit of cursor lag for me on the Mac version. He could play it easily after being shown what to do. My 8 year old has no trouble playing the game. If I had it to do over again, and I will , I would not use the timed mode since I had to repeat the harder levels when time kept running out.
