To marry his sweetheart, the beautiful Princess of Persia, our hero must embark on a quest to find the long lost Golden Sword - the most valuable treasure in the kingdom. There is little explanation of what to do- no power-ups. Graphic when starting the game tells you what to do. On one level the board is fairly large with large tiles, the next level the board itself is larger and includes twice as many tiles, that have suddenly shrunk in size. Second, there was a description of how to make the moves but not much on what the objective was. I like match three games and this one with the story line will be right up with the best of them. This story starts with dialog explaining that Persia is the world's oldest civilization, known to have conquered Europe, Asia and Africa. Before each level, you are shown a single illustration showing you what happens when you make a Match 4, the next level a Match 5, L shapes etc. All I had to do was earn "x" number of points to pass the level. I easily passed 15 levels during the free hour demo. Somehow I earned a measly points, even though this level was longer and slightly more complicated. I DO, however, recommend this a definite try it for everyone! If you don't mind a Chain type Match 3 game, try Cradle of Persia instead. It needed a little more punch to it. I recommend this game. I played arcade mode and it was so relaxing. I finished the first level, with 5 remaining moves, and I earned nearly points, the level goal was to earn a mere points. And, normally I would BUT the game description page says there are 20 levels per game mode.

  4. Excellent block stacking match 3 game! It continues to say that in the heart of Persia, is Persepolis, the ceremonial capital of the Achaemenid Empire, yada, yada, yada then something about ancient mythological figures. Each level you have to reach your goal in a certain number of moves. I recommend this game. Rated 5 out of 5 by mrm from Wow!
