Each year around this time I begin looking for a Christmas game. Another winner in my book. I play games to relax. You get to pick which layout you want for the tiles and you can choose timed or not.

I did like the graphics though and the fact that you could change tiles and pick your layout. I will still recommend Christmas Mahjong 2 as it's a sweet little game for the right person. I fully recommend it to one and all! I've played mahjong for a long time but in 40 min. I say give this a try-and use a game credit--otherwise pass it up. To some, that's a goal to shoot for. To me, playing on relaxed mode, THAT would drive me so crazy, the game would cease to be either relaxing or enjoyable. All in keeping with the mood. I think you will wish for it under your BF tree. When I read the reviews on this one I almost was sold except for the negative comments regarding the timer. However, at the beginning of each level you are given a set of criteria to meet to receive up to 3 stars - such as collect "x" number of gold tiles you can't pass the level without collecting them all anyway so I found this rather moot , pass the level in "x" number of moves and I frankly don't remember the third. There are actually 15 different backgrounds to choose from such as winter wonderland, snowy day personally I have had too many snowy days of late , Santa, Gingerbread and more. They have to meet certain criteria which includes, but is not limited to, enjoyment of the game play, no timed games, a variety of tiles and layouts. You get this and more in this game. After much consideration I decided to give this game a try and am very pleased I did. You can always go back and redo a level layout if you got less than 3 stars. I am moving along just fine. It's such an enjoyable Christmas game.

I like to pay for relaxing but you can also challenge yourself if you want. I was forever trying to plan my moves ahead and Mahjong Christmas doing that I was always one move over the Mahjong Christmas amount. Usually when there is Be Rich clock involved I don't make it and have long since given up on these type of games since they do not meet the relaxing value I look for in a game break. I say put in better music-then it's worth buying. The goal is to match identical tiles that aren't blocked by other tiles, and all gold tiles must be removed. Rating got rounded up because this game doesn't pretend to be anything it's not. Not getting all stars which is fine with me since I go for entertainment value and not the competitive value. You can always go back and redo a level layout if you got less than 3 stars. Visual quality is mediocre. The game does stay within the theme though, and you get a choice of 3 Christmas related tiles, Mahjong Christmas ones. I fully recommend it to one and all! There are two other types of tiles that can be chosen instead of the BVS Solitaire Collection tiles. Let's just get that out of the way.

The biggest reason I say it's not worth paying for is the music. Keep 'em coming!! You can have either timed or untimed mode. I am most impressed with this Mahjong! The music is even cheaper than the graphics. I fully recommend it to one and all! They'd have done better to have none than put the awful 'music' in. Trying to uncover all the gold tiles in 'x' amount of moves I found frustrating. Tile Set, Background, Layout all of which you can choose individually in "Custom" mode or use the game's "Theme" option. Good clean fun with speed the main factor. It's such an enjoyable Christmas game. Again, admittedly, the music would probably appeal to the young kids that this game seems to be aiming at, but You can change your set up to exclude unwinnable layouts. I encourage you to give this one a chance and see for yourself.

However, the games does Cake Shop continue and there is no time limit that I noticed. It's such an enjoyable Christmas game. No challenge, no excitement.   6. It has bright and colorful graphics-but not a whole lot of effort went in to the visual quality. I did like the graphics though and the fact that you could change tiles and pick your layout. You also get plenty of layouts and backgrounds to choose from.

  10. The background was so soothing I fell asleep - ok, guys, I had a really, really rough week so don't judge. So, if you want a Mahjong game to relax or if you want a challenge with friends or family during this holiday get this game. To some, that's a goal to shoot for.

You must remove all gold tiles, score a specific amount of points and remove all gold tiles within a specific amount of moves or within a specific amount of time, allowing for a three gold star achievement on a perfect score. Some graphics too boring and hard to see when looking for matches. The music is awful.
