In all of my BF reviews, I don't think I've ever used the word "addictive," but that's what this game is for me, along with Spellarium and Cursed House. Cannons that appear on levels can be activated each time you make an adjacent match and making a match adjacent to a Torch will also start a chain reaction as tiles continue to burn as you make matches strategically. From the start the gameplay is advanced with a few mouse tips and a guidebook icon located at the top of each level. Personally, I like the in-game help - even though I have been playing this series for a very long time.

Concentrate on eliminating them above all else, no matter what else is happening on the board. It is such a joy to play, smooth matches, clever action from bonuses and often surprises in what is needed to win the level but there is a relaxed mode and also timed and limited moves to choose For those who have the others in the series: what's new? Why people can't buy a game for fun without being critical of what these little ghosts have to say is beyond me!! There is a vague tutorial given in the beginning that really just points to the targeted goal, and I've read a lot of comments on previous games that complain about this lack of tutorials. Its going to be a long game by my 'game progress bar' anyway. The added bonus games of the dreaded Damned coins, plus the board played against an evil but seemingly generous at times opponent, can be played whenever you need a break. Mah-jong and Solitaire are interim to the levels along with the usual hidden object and spot the difference games - what is there to not love. Enjoy the ghosts of Laruaville! Large Matches will earn you a power-up on the board, and some of those power-ups are a necessity because some obstacles can only be removed with a power-up. Gotta love the interaction with the ghosts. I love anything in this series.
