It has the usual Jewel Match features, clean, pretty graphics, item shop to power up your play, castle building more than one , different levels of play difficulty, progressing through the map with stars and build items. It would also be nice if they didn't require you to double click the Deck after making a Combo. The games are are lovely to look at and always a pleasure to play. And if you've never played any of the previous versions, you'll really enjoy this one. Rated 5 out of 5 by someredtruck from Love it!! And why do we always have to build castles? The goal is to Remove Cards that are either one Higher or one Lower than the Deck Card, and you get to remove all of the cards, not just special cards like some games! The Level Map will show you how many Emeralds are available on each level.

With all the extra levels the CE gives you, I say this is well worthy and certainly qualifies as a CE version. Not only is it a great Solitaire game with lots of variations, but the Collector's Edition is actually CE worthy because it gives you extra Bonus levels. But it's really the play where this game excels. It has all of the features solitaire fans love, and none of the features solitaire fans hate! The card locks, which are introduced early on, in this case ribbons, chains, vines and seals, fairly quickly makes some of the hands with their layouts difficult. The card locks, which are introduced early on, in this case ribbons, chains, vines and seals, fairly quickly makes some of the hands with their layouts difficult. If you don't have enough Emeralds to purchase a Castle section, this step is bypassed. GET IT! The card backs and faces are really awesome and can completely change the look and feel of the game. My only complaint is that I wish the Star Scoring pop-up window wouldn't bounce a few times when it appears because I have to wait for the bouncing to stop before I can click the Re-play tab. And of course the castlebuilding is fun, although I think that the looks of those castles could improve a bit. The key here is that you can replay a hand as many times as you want and you will not lose the progress you acquired in the previous play, which makes challenging yourself to get all the emeralds and stars much more enjoyable. Some cards are blocked, requiring you to find tool cards to unlock them, such as Keys for Lock cards, Sickles for Vine cards, Scissor for Ribbon cards, and my favorites, Wax Seals requiring color specific cards to be played consecutively, and suit specific cards, or Frozen cards that require 2 plays to remove them. Don't worry, you only play 4 or 5 hands before upgrading, it goes quickly. Your castle as you build it becomes the backdrop for each hand.
